I live and work in Ålesund on the west coast of Norway, and my field and knowledge are printmaking. The theme that have occupied my artistry recently is pattern from ecosystem and nature. My great inspiration source is the Japonisme, its power to improve simplify in complexity.
I mitt arbeid er eg på søken i det grafiske utrykket og jobbar med materialar som papir, tekstil og tre. Når eg jobbar tenkjer eg narrative iscenesettelser i rom, der eg søker møtet mellom kunst og design. Min store inspirasjonskjelde er japonismen, dens kraft til å forføre, fengsle og forenkle.
